Piles or hemorrhoids are swollen veins/blood vessels which can be seen or felt inside and around the anus & lower rectum. Piles are formed by the collection of blood vessels and tissues that become swollen with passing time.
Causes of piles-
Piles are caused due to prolonged constipation, infectious diarrhoea, applying excess pressure while passing stool, ageing and unhygienic practices.

Bleeding while passing stool.
Pain in the anal opening.
Lumps around the anus.
Anal opening might feel sore and itchy.
Bowel doesn’t feel clear even after passing stool.
